Description

The project involved providing an outside-in perspective on opportunities for Rite-Aid Rewards, the rebranded version of Wellness+, which had produced mixed results since its relaunch in February 2022. Rite-Aid sought the expertise of Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) to improve the program design and re-engage consumers. A&M's internal program, Amplify, worked alongside Rite-Aid in addressing the situation. Utilizing Amplify's methodology, the team analyzed the Rite Aid rewards program from an overall design, operating model, and economic perspective. This approach allowed for a holistic understanding of the program's strengths and weaknesses and expedited the identification of areas for improvement. The project deliverables included a comprehensive presentation that synthesized the key insights and actionable steps for implementation. A&M's collaboration with Rite-Aid and the application of Amplify's expertise ensured a comprehensive and customized approach to address the challenges faced by the Rite Aid rewards program.
